NARRATING FACTS AND ACTIONS When we are narrating facts and actions we use the present simple for habitual actions or present continuous for actions that are happening now. We also describing facts and actions in the future.  To make future predictions, we use will or won't . To make future predictions we use the form to be+going to and to talk about fixed plans in the near future, we use the present continuous. For recent events and actions, we use the three presents: perfect, simple and continuous.  Sometimes we narrating facts and actions in the past:  past simple (+time expression) . To refer past action which happened before another past action, we use past continuous (+when or while) . 

REPORTING SPEECH   When we are reporting what someone has said, we change the time and the tense of the verb: Present Simple => Past Simple Present Continues => Past Continues Future (will) =>Conditional (would)   We use retorical questions to expressing different emotions and we don't really expect an answer: Indignation Indifference Excitement Enthusiasm  (Tell) someone+infinitive => Reporting Commands (Afirmative): My teacher told me to study harder. (Tell) someone+not+infinitive => Reporting Commands (Negative): My mum told me not to get a tatoo.
